Casket Lowering Device

The Casket Lowering System (CLS) has been designed to provide a revolutionary experience for interment. To maintain the connection, the pall bearers can manually lower the casket to its final resting place while feeling safe and in control. The system consists of 2 main parts, the Casket Support Frame (CSF) and the Grave Surround Decking GSD). When combined these components provide a safer environment around the grave from prevent cave-ins to a safety rail for viewing. The CLS uses a unique strap lowering system to improve the control of lowering the casket. This provides a safer and less stressful experience for the pallbearers.

The CSF has built-in casket roller bars which carry the load of the casket, this creates a seamless transition from the funeral procession for the casket. The casket roller bars support the casket in position and then swing away to allow for lowering.

The device is a knock down design, it can be quickly set-up and broken down for storage. 2 people are recommended to assemble the system.

The GSD consists of four sections which inter-lock together, they support the CSF and pallbearers. They are manufactured from lightweight Aluminium Tread Plate with a weight bearing subframe to withstand the most rigorous conditions. They are finished in an epoxy powder coat.

The CSF consists of two side frames, two end frames and strap support rails. The framework is manufactured from high quality mild steel which is then epoxy powder coated. It has stainless steel pins with precision polymer bearings which are maintenance free.
